Quilt to MD Anderson

MD Anderson hospital in Houston, Texas has a quilt auction each year for the Ovarian Cancer project.  I am almost a 5 year survivor so this is very near and dear to my heart.  I am very lucky, I was caught at the borderline stage but most are not.  I decided I had to send a quilt and will do so every year.  Here is the one I sent this year. It is a lap/twin size made with Kaffe fabrics.  I didn't get pictures of the back before sending but it was scrap pieced.  I machine quilted with a swirl/loop pattern.  If you are interested in this auction please contact me and I'll get more info out.

I had some left over blocks so I made a baby quilt and added a border.  This is for sale at the Labadie Station in Labadie, MO.

  1. So beautiful! Great work-- they are fortunate to have this gorgeous quilt. When the five-year date comes, you must have a celebration!
