Sue Spargo Earth & Twig

I did Sue Spargo's block of the month for 2012 and here it is!  It was wool, wonderful, wacky and whimsical.  I love doing the wool applique and learned a lot.  I quilted it on my long arm and used Dream wool batting.  I wanted to make mine unique so I changed the outer borders and used multiple pieces rather than all the same.  I also used a large brown rick rack instead of a cotton applique for the vine.  Happy, happy, happy!
