I made several Dresdan Plates from Kaffe fabrics. Love, love, love them but now I have to decide on backgrounds. I thought yellow initially but it was blah. Green was OK but "expected".Friends suggested a cranberry/garnet coloring and I really like it.
I did try black and white with white backgrounds and it's OK but not what I thought it might be.
So what do you think?

ReplyDeleteIf you're going to go with black and white I think you need to use bolder prints. I think it could be cool. I have a few you can choose from! ;) Right now I really like the cranberry!
ReplyDeleteCranberry brings out the colors more vividly. The green solid is dull, but the one bit of green print looks very cool. The black and white just distract from your beautiful dresdans!!
